What does a System Engineer at Coolblue do?
As a System Engineer macOS, you’re the go-to expert for managing and automating all Apple devices at Coolblue. You work on improving our Jamf Pro environment daily and make sure everything runs smoothly for thousands of colleagues. You come up with new features, write and test clever scripts and roll out improvements in a controlled way. You thoroughly test new macOS versions before releasing them to all users, so no one is caught off guard.You work closely with teams like Security, Networking, and Identity & Access to align your solutions. That’s how you make our Apple environment a little bit better every day.
You enjoy doing this
- Managing and automating macOS devices using Jamf Pro in a fast-paced Apple environment.
- Writing new Bash or Python scripts to make life easier for your colleagues.
- Collaborating with engineers to build smart integrations between systems.
- Thinking along on software deployment, security policies, and configuration management.
- Testing, documenting, and implementing improvements in the Jamf setup.
- Working on a scalable platform that now supports over 1,500 macOS, iOS, iPadOS and tvOS devices.

- Experience with Jamf Pro or a similar MDM solution for macOS.
- Skilled in Bash, Python scripting.
- Familiar with Apple deployment tools like ADE, VPP, and configuration profiles.
- Comfortable with CI/CD and automated script testing.
