What does a Support Engineer at Coolblue do?
As a Support Engineer with focus on network, you help maintain and improve the best possible IT network infrastructure for all Coolblue employees. You’re part of the Network Support Team and work closely with other teams, such as the Workspaces Facility team. Together, you make sure everything runs smoothly. Thanks to your ownership and focus on improvement, you make our IT network infrastructure a little better every day.
You solve network issues and learn from them to prevent future problems. You ensure that switches, firewalls, and Wi-Fi equipment are always operational. Do your colleagues need help? You recognize yourself in the following
- An ICT diploma (MBO level 4) and about 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Familiarity with protocols like TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
- Experience with hardware from Palo Alto, Cisco, or similar brands
- Certifications like CCNA or CompTIA Network+ are a plus
- You have a driver’s license
- You’re proactive, flexible, and excited about complex networks
- Structured work and clear communication are second nature to you
- You’re fluent in English
