How do I become a Designer Design Systems at Coolblue?

Our design systems team is responsible for creating and managing systems, features, components and patterns that are scalable and easy to use by our design and development teams. The end goal is of course to deliver great experiences for our customers. Your responsibilities will include expanding and setting up design systems for mobile, web, and potentially other platforms, with a focus on quality, standards and consistency. You will work closely with the development team to ensure parity between Figma component libraries and production code. Knowing how and when to use the design system is closely tied to producing thorough documentation, which falls under your responsibility. Additionally, you will contribute to strategy and collaborate with cross-discipline teams to shape our design system and ensure alignment.

You facilitate the need from different domains/teams and translate them into actions within the design systems team. You will collaborate closely with your team and maintain contact with other teams and domains. You will also be part of a design community with designers from other teams where you can connect, share, learn, and support each other to improve the way we design at Coolblue.

Are you a self-driven creative problem solver with excellent stakeholder management skills, who thinks bigger picture, is detail-oriented and good on the tools? Are you comfortable in navigating through complex challenges and strive for consistency ? Please keep reading.
