What does a Marketing Analytics Engineer at Coolblue do?
As a Marketing Analytics Engineer you are responsible for building and scaling our marketing personalization data processes. For example, you ensure that our online marketing is used as effectively as possible. You do this by bringing together customer data and segmentation logics. For this you use tools such as dbt, Python, Airflow and BigQuery. You will also contribute to an in-house Customer Data Platform (CDP). In your role you interact a lot with different marketing teams. You improve the scalability and quality of Coolblue's marketing. Pretty important.
You enjoy doing this
- Work analytically and proactively on data models and an in-house Customer Data Platform (CDP) for optimal use of customer data.
- Work with a large amount of data, for example about customer behavior on the website or external channels.
- Interact with multiple teams about their marketing channels, such as emails, banners or push messages.
- Use a wide set of tools such as dbt, Python, Airflow and BigQuery to write the smartest logic, automate it and analyze results.
- Lead projects from A to Z, with the aim of optimizing the data models.

You recognize yourself in the following
- A masters degree with a strong quantitative component, such as Business Analytics, Econometrics, Economics, Marketing or Business Information Management.
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in building and monitoring data processes.
- Knowledge of at least one of the programming languages SQL, Python or R. Also knowledge of dbt, Looker and/or Airflow? Great.
- A good understanding of the Dutch and English language.
- You live in the Netherlands.
