UX/UI Designer Internal applications

As a driven UXer at Coolblue, you put your design magic to use to optimize and innovate our internal applications

    Pros and cons

    • You come up with new functionalities and bring them to life to test them with your users.
    • You improve the usability of internal applications, which serve your colleagues on a daily basis.
    • You design creative and ingenious things without losing sight of the visual identity of Coolblue.
    • You make Coolblue a little bit better every day, as well as your own colleagues.
    • You get a dry mouth of  all the talking with stakeholders and your end users.

    Description

You sit down behind your MacBook and have a look at the results gathered from the user research you conducted yesterday. You've got many new insights, awesome! After the daily stand-up, you sketch multiple scenarios to improve the application. In the afternoon you go to a brainstorming session with fellow UX Designers to come up with even more great solutions. Before the end of the day, you walk over to a UX design colleague to give her some feedback on the design she made for one of the other internal applications.

    Your specifications

    • A BSc or MSc degree in a relevant area.
    • Minimum of 2 years experience as UX/UI designer.
    • Affinity with designing internal applications.
    • You've created great things and you're able to show that through, for example, your portfolio.
    • You're not afraid to share your opinion and defend it.
    • The choices you make for your designs can be supported by theoretical knowledge.
    • You have commercial insight and a drive for increasing conversion.
    • Within your team and the IT department, you're the go-to guy or gal for UX design.
    • You speak English fluently.
    • We offer relocation assistance in case you're currently living abroad. We'll help you move, settle in and get you in those wooden shoes.

    Included by default

    • Money.
    • 25 leave days. As long as you promise to come back.
    • Travel allowance and a retirement plan.
    • A discount on all of our products.
    • Over 30 training courses at our own Coolblue University.
    • An international working environment. With colleagues from places like Belgium, Spain, Australia, Mexico, and Italy.
    • Relocation assistance, from A to Z (if you live in Europe).
    • A horizontal organisation in the broadest sense. You could just go and have a beer with the boss.
    • An awesome workplace. With freshly prepared meals, monthly TGIF drinks, epic Coolblue parties, team activities, and an informal, playful office space.

You’re applying for a job with us. Sweet! We might even become colleagues. We also might not though, and that would be a shame. That’s why we’d like to call you if a position we think you would rock becomes vacant. Only if that’s alright with you, of course. Is it?
