You start your day with the daily stand-up. Together with the team you discuss in short the progress of the current sprint and you inventorize the impediments which is holding back the team from further progressing. After the daily stand-up you're immediately trying to resolve the impediments so that the team can continue working on finishing the sprint.
Next up is a brief chat with your key-stakeholders to get to know their wishlist for the platform. You receive a lot of input which you bring back to the team to further discuss during a refinement. During the refinement the time and complexity of each which is being guesstimated. All ingredients are now there to properly decide on the priorities and to further progress on the Hosting & Deployment roadmap for the next two quarters.
Later on in the week, the Oracle migration is planned. An exciting moment for the team and stakeholders. You are going with the team through the playbook one more time and you organize a last preparation session with your key-stakeholders. The migration is going as planned, everyone is super happy as we now have finally full DTAP environments! You receive directly feedback about how the databases platform can become even more developer-friendly. Valuable input which you will directly work-out the next day, but first time for beers and 'bitterballen' to celebrate the successful migration together with the team!
