Mendix Developer

You help new ventures within Coolblue to grow by thinking about processes and building applications from the ground up.

    Pros and cons

    • You develop apps for new projects of Coolblue.
    • You make plans together with your team and stakeholders.
    • You examine how the latest developments within the Mendix-landscape can be used to improve our apps and the development process.
    • You improve your daily speed record on our electric scooter.
    • You'll be listening to Jeroen's jokes on a daily basis.

'Morning!' When you arrive at the office, Stephan's already drinking his second coffee. After discussing your weekend, you will work together to come up with a complete integration with Apple GSX API to make our repair system even smarter. At the end of the afternoon you will meet with the stakeholders of the solar panel team to look at the possibility of a mobile app for our installers. Building a Native App could give us a lot of extra integration, but we decide to start with a simple web application to create delivery reports for an installation.

You check your agenda and see that tomorrow you can code a whole day, Nice! Wednesday you will explore exchanging information with salesforce using their REST API.

    • A picture-perfect office at a great location. You could crawl to work from Rotterdam Central Station. Though we recommend just walking for 2 minutes.
    • An extraordinarily good work environment, with freshly made snacks, monthly drinks, legendary Coolblue partiesawesome team activities, and an informal, playful department.
    • Working together in an international environment with colleagues from the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Brazil, Mexico, and Italy, among others.
