Marketing Technology Specialist

As a Marketing Technology Specialist you automate processes in our marketing technology stack

    Description

    You start the day by taking a glance at the monitoring dashboards of our marketing application stack. You see that the product feed hasn't been updated for a couple of hours and you dive into the tool. This was the third time this month, so you hit up the Account Manager and tell him this is unacceptable. Luckily you already asked Beatriz to build a proof of concept for an in-house solution.

    At 11:00 you have a stand-up with the rest of the team. You learn about the manual creation process of a new type of marketing campaign. This must be possible in a more efficient way, you think. For this you reach out to the involved parties to map out the process. You weigh the pros and cons of integrating this into existing marketing tooling, building something custom or finding a new tool.

    After team lunch at a nearby food shop, you blocked some time for some coding. You are working on a data integration between two marketing applications, so we can orchestrate our marketing campaigns. This helps you to get some hands on experience for the Python course you are following.

    It's 17:30 and, after a team retrospective, you wrap up the end of another sprint and head over to celebrate it with the team over some beers. 

    Your specifications

    • You have experience with in (automated) online marketing.
    • You have programming experience, preferably in Python or a similar language.
    • You are not afraid of the command line and are willing to learn everything about creating data pipelines.
    • You have experience with mapping out complex processes.
    • You have experience in web tagging / tracking like Google Tag Manager.
    • You know how to do actionable monitoring of critical applications.
    • You are curious to learn all about Google Cloud Platform and their latest releases and beta features.
    • You have strong communication skills and can clearly explain technical issues to anyone within Coolblue.
