You start your Monday with a weekly stand-up with the marketing bidding team. This week, you’re working with Bidding Expert Rob and Data Scientist Daan. Together, you’ll focus on the automatic cancellation of marketing investments in case of high demand in the warehouse. The keyword bids that Data Science has calculated are ready to be added to the Google Ads API.
Another project you’re working on is the automatic creation of product-specific banner advertisements. This may sound tough, but luckily, you’re not on your own. Your Google contact is visiting the office with good news: we’re part of a beta-test, which allows us to use structured data files to create campaigns in bulk. That’ll save lots of manual work!
Later on in the week, you’re meeting with your Data Engineering colleagues. They really know their stuff and teach you how to juggle your data. After all this data magic, it’s time for Friday drinks.
