What does a Manager Tech Security at Coolblue do?

As Manager Tech Security you make sure that we make Security a little better every day. You do this by giving clear direction to the Tech Security strategy, helping the Tech colleagues to implement it, and, where necessary, testing whether the agreements are being upheld. You don't do this alone, but with a team of 6 Tech Security specialists.

      Daan has been in service for 15 years and, like every year, he is being assessed for his performance. You have prepared this well because you have collected a lot of feedback from the organisation.

You recognize yourself in the following

  • You have a college education. You have a completed education, preferably in the direction of Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or Informatics.
  • You know how to balance between risk and entrepreneurship.
  • You have at least 5 years of relevant experience as a Security Manager or EDP Audit or IT manager.
  • Scrum and Agile hold no secrets for you and you understand how security can be embedded in these processes.
  • You have experience as a hiring manager and with the onboarding process of new colleagues.
  • You are experienced in coaching, advising and improving the Security Awareness of your Tech colleagues.
  • It is an advantage if you are in possession of the CISSP/CISM/ CISA/CCSP certificate.

  • How does Coolblue adhere to the COVID-19 measures?

    We adhere to the recommendations and guidelines of RIVM and the government, of course. Working at the office makes us happy, that’s why we are working partly from home and partly from the office.

    The interviews for your application will also take place partly via video calls and partly in the office. On your first day we meet each other at the office. So we can drink a cup of coffee and get to know each other better.

    With over 30 training courses in our own Coolblue University, you can get a little bit better every day. At Coolblue, we go back to school sometimes. But not by sitting there quietly and just listening. The training courses aren't boring, but interactive. You have to do exercises and have discussions with others. At the Coolblue University, we choose what we want to learn, so we can continue to develop en become real experts. For example, a Delivery Driver needs different training courses than a Customer Service Employe and a starter needs different courses than a manager.
