What does a Junior AWS Cloud Engineer at Coolblue do?

Together with the team you will provide support for and build out our cloud infrastructure. You believe in automating the cloud via Infrastructure as Code (IaC) as much as with custom automation. With the automation you introduce, as well as your knowledge of deployment pipelines, our developers can rest assured that their applications will deploy without any troubles.   • Writing a serverless application in Python that creates a backup everyday to S3.

You recognize yourself in the following

  • You are solution oriented.
  • You have experience working with any cloud environment, preferably AWS (Solutions Architect Associate certificate a plus).
  • You enjoy building solutions and sometimes guiding others doing so.
  • You have development experience in Python.
  • You 'automate all the things', from bootstrap to backup.
  • You have experience with configuration management tools like Puppet or Ansible.
  • You have experience with observability solutions like DataDog or Splunk.
  • You are already located in the Netherlands.
